Natalia Kubik
Natalia Kubik is a Polish civil servant and career diplomat. She graduated in applied linguistics from the Tischner European University in Kraków, as well as in management and marketing from Koźmiński University in Warsaw. She is also a graduate of the National School of Public Administration (KSAP), after which she joined the civil service. She studied at ESG École de Commerce in Paris and completed postgraduate studies in economic diplomacy at the Warsaw School of Economics.
She gained additional experience through internships at the International Trade Centre (ITC), the Ministry of Development, and public relations agencies. She has been actively involved in the boards of non-governmental organizations and currently serves as a member of the Program Council of the Forum of Young Diplomats and the KSAP Alumni Association.
In 2017, she began working at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as an online communication specialist and later became head of the Online Communication Unit. From 2019 to 2022, she served as Deputy Director for Strategic Communication in the MFA Spokesperson’s Office. Since 2022, she has been serving as Consul of the Republic of Poland in Ottawa, responsible for consular and Polish diaspora affairs.
Ania Kielar
Ania Kielar is a radiologist at the Joint department of Medical Imaging (JDMI), at the University of Toronto. She is the deputy chief of quality and practice improvement aat JDMI and the Vice Chair at large at the University of Toronto, department of radiology. She is the immediate past president of the Canadian Association of Radiologists. She did her medical school and residency at the University of Ottawa and her fellowship in abdominal imaging at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. She has over 130 peer reviewed publications, 12 book chapters and has been invited to speak at national and international conferences around the world. Her professional passion and research focuses on standardization and reduction of error in image interpretation. Outside of work, Dr. Kielar enjoys playing ice hockey, cycling and adventure travel.
Aleksandra Paliga
Aleksandra Paliga is a pathologist in the department of Diagnostic and Molecular Pathology at The Ottawa Hospital. She is the departmental lymphoma subspeciality lead and specializes in Lymphoma and Gynecological pathology. She is also an Assistant Professor at the University of Ottawa and Undergraduate Medical Education Co-Director for the Pathology component at the medical school. She did her medical school at McGill and residency at the University of Ottawa and fellowship training at University of Portland. Her professional passion focuses on education. Outside of work she enjoys tennis, skiing, and art work.
